About Sydney

Sydney is a highly creative photographer based in Durango, Colorado, with a deep connection to the Four Corners region. Having lived in Gallup, New Mexico for three years, she is intimately familiar with the culture and landscapes of the Southwest. Sydney loves working with people from diverse backgrounds and collaborating with other creatives.

In addition to portrait and branding photography, Sydney sells fine art prints, licenses images, and offers photography mentoring and teaching. She also pursues passion projects that utilize photojournalism, videography, and drone (coming soon) to highlight female advocacy and conservation. With a photography minor and 10 years of broad communications/photography experience, Sydney’s award-winning images have been featured by Sony Alpha Female and recognized in international competitions. Her work will soon be showcased in several galleries—check the Events tab for upcoming exhibitions.

Sydney travels internationally and does not charge a travel fee for Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, or Western Colorado. If you need a photographer for an advocacy project, feel free to reach out—she would love to help brainstorm a project with you!
